Oh my goodness! I spent the day test driving machines today and cannot believe how excited I was by the experience. These 2 machines are at the top of my listing. At present I have two questions: one) Babylock or Brother? 2) I have found the Elegante cheaper online by $3500 although the machine is 3 1/2 years old merely I will non become free lessons for life as I would if I purchased the auto locally. All thoughts and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Talk to your dealer - tell them what you institute and find out the best cost with the lessons.

Lessons are terrific.

Have fun making your option.

I bought ane of the original Ellegante machines and never took the lessons I was supposed to become with information technology. It came with a workbook (withal wrapped in plastic), but with only the transmission I have learned how to use it myself. Information technology is very user friendly and if y'all have any machine embroidery experience at all, it is very easy to option upwards on your ain. I love mine!!! Either style you determine, congrats!!!

I got my Ellegante 2 in December 2009. It was 8 months old and had 100,000 stitches. I never took a course. Everything I learned I got from another forum at Allbrands. They can help you with everything. If your dealer will piece of work with yous and cut a deal and then I would go with a dealer. Buying one online is risky. Ask almost the number of stitches it has. I take never had v minutes of problems. She is priceless. Babylock and Brother are like Toyota and Lexus. They are fabricated in the same plant. Check out the sewforum at Allbrands.com and you will speedily size them upwards. Mine came off of eBay and it was a tradein at a store in Florida. They were super prissy and knew the history of the machine. The lady who bought it orginally was then intimidated that she traded it dorsum in on something smaller. They were the best to bargain with. I would propose you get additional photos of everything that comes with it and find out the history if possible.

I take had a Babylock Ellageo which is one step downwards from Ellegante, bought new at local shop 8 years ago, it has 8,000,000 stitches on information technology and still does a beautiful job.

Personally Babylock'south are very user friendly, simply I like dealing with local businesses, and so if you demand assist they are there, especially if you have never embroidered. Our local business eight years agone was very helpful, but changed easily and not as people oriented.
